This zippered pouch, about 9" wide by 7" deep, snaps on to the rings of your sling with a 10" long strap. It adds the convenience of a pocket without adding weight to the sling's tail, or interfering with using the tail as a coverup. I was so happy to find this fabric! I love to wear Tencel -- it has a drape and texcure all of its own. Like rayon, Tencel is made from the cellulose in wood pulp -- so it's ecologically friendly and natural, despite being man-made. (This is tencel twill, which is much more supportive than the plainweave tencel I was offering in years past.) [more]

I was able to buy a limited quantity of these 45" wide silks at a very reasonable price, and I am passing my savings on to you! Wide-width slings are terrific for big babies and toddlers -- their extra width provides more support for taller bodies, and if you're breastfeeding, it's easy to pull up the edge for coverage.
