(Closing the store basically means I will be marking all the fabrics as "out of stock" -- they won't actually be out of stock, but I don't wish to take orders duing that time because I hate having a backlog. Pre-Thanksgiving free shipping In Stock: 11 This 71% hemp, 29% cotton blend feels fairly unremarkable before it's washed, but once washed and dried a few times, it undergoes an amazing transformation. Each wash makes it softer and more supple, but it retains its supportiveness and crisp hand. It reminds me of linen, and indeed does have a somewhat rumpled look, as well as the strength associated with linen. Given all that, you won't believe how soft it gets! The photo at left is a fairly close-up shot of the fabric before washing. After washing, the weave isn't as visible. Washing tips: Machine wash on hot, dry regular the first time. After the first wash, medium or cool temperatures are preferable; hang to dry if desired, but drying on medium will soften the fabric faster.
