ring sling with overlapping pleat shoulder
Today's
message: I will be closing the store starting on the morning
of Wednesday, Nov. 25, since I won't be sewing or shipping over the US Thanksgiving
weekend (25th-29th) as we will be visiting with family. Please plan accordingly
and order earlier, or be prepared to wait a few days to order, if you will need
a sling around those times. (Closing the store basically means I will be marking
all the fabrics as "out of stock" -- they won't actually be out of stock, but
I don't wish to take orders duing that time because I hate having a backlog.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.)
If you're looking at a product and can't see any swatches, click on the color
selector for that product, pull down until you see the color you're interested
in, and then let go of the mouse button. The photo at left will change to reflect
the chosen color. If this doesn't work on your browser, please send
me an email and let me know.
Payment Methods:
By
clicking one of the links in the "shopping" navigation pull-down, you
will be taken to my shopping cart system. I can take PayPal and credit card (through
PayPal) payments through the site. You do not have to have a PayPal account to
make payments using PayPal; the system will guide you through several steps that
will allow you to securely enter your credit card number just like you would
on any retail site. I never see your credit card information, so it is very safe
and secure.
New! I now accept Revolution
Money Exchange payments as well. RME is similar to PayPal, but there are
no fees for exchanging money. However, it's not yet set up to be integrated into
shopping carts, so if you want to use it, I will be processing the payment manually.
You'd go through ordering as usual, selecting "PayPal, Credit Card, or RME" as
your payment option within the product (see Points for more information) and
then select Revolution Money Exchange in the screen where you've given your address
information. The cart will send me an email that you have ordered, and I will
then send a money request to you for the correct amount via RME.
You can pay by check or money order, although
I cannot ship your sling until I receive payment. If you intend to pay by check
or money order, there is no need to print out a copy of the order form to send
with your payment -- I get all the information from my shopping cart. Please
plan to send your payment to me within two weeks, or send me an email letting
me know if that is not possible. Orders that go without payment or contact from
you for more than two weeks will be cancelled. I hate to do that, but all my
fabrics are available only on a limited basis, and I can't hold the last piece
of a given fabric indefinitely.
About PayPal eChecks: If your PayPal account is linked to your bank checking account and not to a credit card, or funds within the PayPal account itself, it will be processed as an eCheck. PayPal's policies state that I may not ship any items until the eCheck has cleared (generally 4-5 business days, although the time period seems to be longer for international orders). Please check where funds come from in your PayPal account before ordering, since an eCheck is processed differently from funded or credit card-linked PayPal. If your PayPal is linked to your checking account, I will have to wait until the eCheck clears before sending your sling, and therefore you can use the check/eCheck/Money Order option for points. More about PayPal eChecks
Alas for my international customers -- my bank charges me a $4 fee on any check or money order drawn on a non-US bank, so if you are in Canada or Europe or pretty much anywhere but the US and wish to pay by check or money order, be sure that the payment is drawn for US funds, and please add $4 to cover this fee. I wish I didn't have to do that, since you're already paying more for shipping and the exchange rate, but my bank isn't friendly :(
Privacy statement:
I hate spam. Spam drives me crazy. I assume that it drives everyone else crazy, too, so I would never even consider for one second selling your information to anyone else, or giving it to them, or letting them have even a glimpse of it. I promise -- cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle (of which I have plenty) in my eye -- that I will never let another soul's eyes (or another computer's CPU) get at your data!
