CheckoutToday's message: Open for business again! It was good to have uninterrupted time to work on the directions -- I think I did a better job in less time that way. But now we're back to your regularly scheduled store. Please fan my Facebook page if you'd like to get live updates.
Please read about infant safety in baby-holding devices (every parent, babywearer or not, needs to know about this) and sling safety!

Cotton denim

If, like me, you live in jeans, then nothing will feel more familiar, cozy and comfortable than a 100% cotton denim sling. This is significantly more lightweight and softer than your jeans, however, and makes a lovely, drapey sling.[more]

Eggshells

Color-grown 100% cotton threads and a subtle waffle-like weave give this intriguing fabric an unusual body and texture, as well as a soft "give" that makes it a lovely choice for newborns and up. [more]

European linen

Linen may just be the best sling fabric there is. Before cotton was widely cultivated, linen was the go-to fabric for just about everything -- daily wear, bedclothes, accessories... if it was sewn, it was made with linen. [more]

French twill

100% cotton, brushed on one side for strokable softness; the other side is smooth and almost like sateen, with a slight sheen. Its light weight makes it ideal for warmer climates, while giving it a drape one doesn't usually find in twills. [more]

Hemp-Silk blend

Perfect for formal Spring occasions, summer weddings... and wearing around the house with jeans and a t-shirt! [more]

Hemp/cotton twill
In Stock: 25

This hemp/cotton blend is more cotton and less hemp than "Delight" -- 55% hemp, 45% cotton -- and so it has a shorter break-in period than the latter. With a plainweave texture and the strength and light weight of hemp, this is an excellent, supportive pick for summer. [more]

Linen/cotton blend

Linen is a wonderful summer fabric -- its fibers wick away perspiration rather than holding it close to your skin, and the fabric breathes very nicely. Adding cotton gives it a finer texture without compromising its strength.[more]

Plume jacquard

Color-grown 100% cotton threads woven in a gorgeous, flowing jacquard weave, reminiscent of fields of wheat or droplets of ink in water. The closest fabric to wrap fabric I've ever found. [more]

Slingified Easycares

Easycare wraps are thin, but not too thin, with a wonderfully "giving" weave. Limited quantities... I got my hands on 5 colorways, brand-new wraps, and they are waiting to be slingified! [more]

Stretch Pique

97% Cotton, 3% Spandex. The spandex gives it a very slight stretch across the width, which is quite comfortable -- it adds a bit of a "hug" without adding any bounce. The result is a supportive, comfortable fabric that's terrific for year-round wearing. [more]

Tencel

I was so happy to find this fabric! I love to wear Tencel -- it has a drape and texcure all of its own. Like rayon, Tencel is made from the cellulose in wood pulp -- so it's ecologically friendly and natural, despite being man-made. (This is tencel twill, which is much more supportive than the plainweave tencel I was offering in years past.) [more]
