These are cuts of wraps I've had in my sewing studio for a while -- some of them were purchased to fix a mistake I made with a customer's WCRS, others are the last piece of a brand I used to carry for in-stock WCRS. Because it's just a few pieces, doing the ASTM testing on them would be pointless, so I need them gone before the standard goes into effect. So if you're looking for a fantastic deal on some quality slings, here you go! Prices will change as you cycle through the names below, and reflect what I paid for the pieces, minus a rather large discount. Due to the discounted prices, returns will not be accepted, and please note the size constraints on some pieces; most are long enough for only the sling itself and no accessories, so please don't order an accessory unless you are okay with a sling that's 10" shorter than the maximum lengths listed in the descriptions in the next tab.
All pieces are 100% cotton.
Didymos: The Nino weave I have here was a limited edition several years ago. It's an amazingly soft, double-faced cotton, with two available slings, one at 78" and the other 83"; these will make a medium or large signature/retro pleated sling respectively, or S/M and M/L Eesti, or XS and S floating gathered. The shorter piece has been washed.
Easycare: How I miss being able to sell Easycare WCRS! Unfortunately, I'm no longer able to get them (long story, seems to have something to do with Austrian export laws?), so this is all I'm left with. I have enough of the Prism (black with thin rainbow stripes) exclusive for a single sling in any length up to 3XL signature (1 size lower for Eesti, 2 sizes lower for floating gathered). The red is a full wrap and can make two slings of any size; and I have enough of my own exclusive Norssken reboot to make 4-5 slings of any length. This is the very last of the latter -- I had ordered 8 rolls of it, received 4 due to the other half getting lost in transit (!!!...), and thought I had gone through all of it, but found the rest of one roll in my very deep fabric closet. Get it while you can!
West 4th: I purchased these two pieces to see how they would work for my slings, but never ended up sewing them up. They are machine-woven, but appear hand-woven in texture. There's enough of each for one large signature/retro, medium Eesti, or small floating gathered.
Tablecloths: I bought these to do DIY demos, but the major babywearing organization no longer officially endorses DIY, so I no longer do in-person demos. If you're looking for an inexpensive sling that will stand up to heavy use and/or a heavy child to carry, here you go :) All are 84" long before washing, so they'll shrink some after laundering; with that in mind, they'll be long enough for basically a medium signature/retro pleated sling, a small/medium Eesti, or a small floating gathered. They're jacquard woven and feel just like a regular wrap. There are occasional irregularities in the weave, but nothing that would make them unsafe.
General guidelines: wash on cold with detergents that do not contain fabric softeners or optical brighteners. Tumble dry medium or hang to dry.
