I've started using the sewing slot system again. I hate to do it, but I simply can't keep up with the order volume that's been consistently high for months now. Please click the link for an explanation of how it works and why I need to use it.

At right, In-stock slots are for fabrics I have on hand (basic and organic fabrics) and will be sewing from scratch; WCRS slots are for things you're having sent to me like wrap pieces, custom fabric, or sling shoulder redos. Next refresh is the date and time I will be adding more sewing slots.

I've changed from sewing a mix of WCRS and in-stock slings each week, to just doing WCRS one week and in-stocks the next. I think this will be more efficient and allow me to sew more slings, and may also may sewing slots easier to get. Sewing slots for both types will be added every other week, in a several batches to give people in different time zones the opportunity to order. Ribbon trim

Ribbon trim is a great, low-key accent for a casual sling -- perfect for tencel, linen and blends, or the plain organic slings. The ribbon is sewn across the sling, about 1" from the bottom hem, and can also be used to accent a pocket. If you select "pocket trim" below, the price includes the pocket and the trim -- no need to order the pocket separately -- and the ribbon along the hem as well. I can also use ribbon that you send; plan on ordering a yard to do the hem trim, or 40" if you also want trim on a pocket.

The fraction next to the ribbon colorway is the width of the ribbon (i.e. 7/8" or 1 1/2"). The wider ribbons are quite striking, while the narrower ones are a little more subdued.

Please note: Adding this item to your cart means I will sew ribbon (or ribbon and pocket) to the tail of your sling, which must be purchased separately. It does not reflect the cost of a complete sling; $8 wouldn't even cover the cost of materials for a sling, let alone the time I put into it. The photo shown at left is just an example of how a finished sling looks with ribbon trim.
