Soft, supple, and with a handwoven look and feel, these beautiful viscose (rayon) jacquard slings will be your new favorite as soon as you put one on. From the ornate paisley patterns down to the fringe, every detail of the scarf-like fabric will entrance you!

There are so many patterns, each one unique, that I have not tried to name or describe each one -- just put up photos, so pick the weave you like best by its photo. The photos show both sides (front and back are opposites, because of the jacquard weaving process), so please make a note of which color you would like in the body of the sling and which you'd like in the tail. The end of the tail is also shown, as it is woven in a different pattern from the body of the sling, and it includes a couple of inches of fringe, which gives the sling a very elegant look.

I've been wearing one of these to test it, and I find it very comfortable. The weave is quite open, yet resistant to tearing (due to the weave and the nature of the fibers), so it does well in hot weather. It's also quite cozy, and will be just as lovely to wear on a cold autumn day as it is in July. It has a lot of diagonal "give", which means it will conform perfectly to you and your baby's body, and it adjusts easily through size small aluminum SlingRings. Each has already been washed and hung to dry, and can be washed in cold water on a delicate cycle. Because of the way they are woven, I'm making these as a one-size fits all, and the length (78" finished) is good for most users from women's size 6 through at least 22. I wear a size 22 and find that the tail goes to my hip; smaller wearers will have a correspondingly longer tail. I also cannot provide pockets or other accessories with these fabrics due to the weave.

Please note: Although I have done my best to make sure the colors on these slings are accurately represented, I can check them against the real thing only on my own monitor. All monitors display colors slightly differently; flat-panels seem to me to be the most realistic out of the box, while laptops display a brighter and bluer tone and CRTs tend towards darker and redder. If you have very strong opinions about color, please email me before placing your order to double check that the colors *you* see are the ones that are real or not. Most of these slings are actually very autumnal in tone, tending towards beige, orange, and brown, rather than white or blue. I cannot refund payments due to differences in monitor calibration; there are simply too many variables for me to be able to guarantee that what you are seeing is the true color.
